Fans will have a chance to see two of the best teams in the nation and some of the country's top prospects go head-to-head on Monday when No. 2 Long Island Lutheran (NY) takes on No. 12 AZ Compass Prep (AZ) in the 2024 Spalding Hoophall Classic.
With both teams ranked in SBLive's Top 25 national high school boys basketball rankings, and nine of the top recruits in Classes 2024-2026, this could end up being one of the most exciting games of the year.

Long Island Lutheran
The Crusaders lost team leaders Jayden Ross and Jayden Reid from last year's squad, but VJ Edgecombe, No. 5 in ESPN's Class of 2024 recruits and SBLive’s National Newcomer of the Year in 2022-23, returns for his senior season along with four-star junior Kiyan Anthony, the son of Carmelo Anthony.
They also added a couple of four-star juniors in Florida State commit Alier Maluk and Nigel James.
AZ Compass Prep
Arizona commit Jamari Phillips is the only returning player for the Dragons, but they brought in seniors Del Jones (No. 66) and Sammie Yeanay (No. 91), who are both ranked in ESPN's Class of 2024 Top 100 recruits.
The talent doesn't stop with their senior class. Jeremiah Fears (No. 22) and Davion Hannah (No. 31) are two of the top-ranked players in the nation in the Class of 2025.
